"Massage Is More Than Muscles"

When people hear "massage therapy," they often think of relaxation, stress relief, or working out a kink in their back. And yes - all of that is part of the experience. But for many of us, massage goes deeper. It's about reconnection. It's about being seen, felt, and supported in a world that constantly demands we push through.
As someone who spent over 20 years in a completely different field - and who went through my own journey of loss, burnout, and healing - I know firsthand that massage can be a lifeline. Not just for physical tension, but for emotional release and nervous system reset.
What Makes My Approach Different?
At In2itive Healin9, I blend clinical and intuitive work. I don't just follow a routine. I listen - to your body, your breath, your energy. I use a combination of techniques like:
Myofascial release, positional release, and scar tissue therapy
Swedish and dynamic massage
Reiki, craniosacral therapy, and acupuncture
Each treatment is personalized to where you are today. No two bodies are the same, and no two days feel the same either.
The Places We Carry Things
I often focus on the chest wall, abdomen, inner thighs, hands, and feet - areas most massage therapist skip. But these are the places where we store so much: grief, stress, posture fatigue, old trauma, and the invisible weight of "holding it together."
These areas are deeply connected to nervous system regulation, breath, digestion, and emotional flow. When they're released, something shifts - not just physically, but energetically.
Healing Isn't Linear
Sometimes you come in for low back pain, and what you really needed was to exhale. To cry. To be still. To be met with compassion instead of judgement.
That's the space I hold at In2itive Healin9.
You don't have to explain or apologized for what you're carrying. Just come as you are. Your body already knows what to do - I'm just here to support that process with presence, intention, and skilled touch.
